Bhubaneswar, 01.05.2020: At a time when people have to stay indoors due to the nationwide lockdown, the Educationists of Capital city have come forward to distribute dry food and other essential dry products to the needy people in the slums of near by areas.
DAV Unit 8 Team have successfully distributed various food items to the 150 inhabitants of slummy areas under the guidance of Smt Ipsita Dash, the principal of DAV public school, Unit 8 Bhubaneswar.
She states, “Each one of us posses a social responsibility towards others and therefore, we have started this process in many areas including The Ashrams located at Tomando,Bhubaneswar.
I’m glad that school employees are a part of this procedure.” It is highly appreciative on her part to take initiatives to help the needy.
Worth mentioning that distribution of these food packets
shall continue on a regular basis initially for next 07 days in first phase. As the Head of the Institution, She thanked all his staff members who were actively a part of this initiative.
