PM Modi writes to citizens on first anniversary of NDA 2.0

New Delhi : As NDA government completes one year of this 2nd term, in a letter to the people of country PM Modi has listed out several Initiatives, achievements and big decision taken by his government. While expressing confidence of victory in the country’s war against pandemic.

PM Modi for his 2nd term was sworn in may 30 last year. So PM termed this day as ‘Golden chapter’ in history of Indian democracy.

Once again I bow to 130 crore people and to the democratic spirit of our nation. During the normal time, I would have been in your middle. However the present circumstances do not permit me to do that. So that I’m seeking your blessings through this letter” as asked by PM Modi.

PM emphasized on his government anti corruption credentials, saying over the last 5 years , the nation saw, how the administrative structure broke itself free of status quo and from the swamp of corruption as well as misgovernance.

PM modi said from 2014 to 2019 , India stature rose significantly. The dignity of poor enhanced, nation achieved free gas, financial inclusion, electricity connection, total sanitation coverage and made progress towards ensuring house to all.

He said about the surgical strike on terror lunch pads across the LOC and airstrike on a terror camp carried out by the Indian force in respond to the Pakistan sponsored terror attacks. At the same time , decades old demand such as OROP, One Nation One Tax GST, better MSP for farmers.

He said in the last one year some of the decision were widely discussed and ‘remain etched in public display’ and he mentioned abrogation of Article-370 in jammu and Kashmir, Ayodhya verdict by Supreme Court and citizenship amendment Act CAA.

Listing reforms in the area of defense, PM Modi noted the creation of chief of defense staff (CDS) has improve coordination between the armed forces. “At the same time India has stepped up for Mission Ganganyaan”

Referring to PM Kissan Samman Nidhi , he said that more than 72,000 crore has been deposited in the accounts of over 9.50 crores farmers in just 1 year.

The PM said that for the 1st time in the country’s history, farmers, labourers, shopkeepers in the unorganised sectors have been assured the provision of regular monthly pension of Rs. 3000 after age of 60.

“Higher quantum of financial assistance is being provided to more than 7 crore women attached to self-help groups. Keeping in mind of education of tribal children , we have begun the construction of 400 more Eklavya Model Residential schools” he said.

The PM asserted that several people friendly laws have been ushered during last year.

The rural and urban gap is shrinking as the result of government policies and decisions.

“The list of such historic actions taken by the government in the national interest would be so long in the letter. But I must say that every day of this year, my government has worked round the clock with full vigour, taking and implicating the decision” Prime minister Modi said.

He said,While on one hand, our powers with great economic resources and state of the art healthcare system, on the other hand is our country besieged with problem amidst a vast population and limited resources.

“But today through sheer confidence and resilience, we have transformed the way the world look at us. We have proven that the collective strength and potential of Indians is unparalleled compared even to the powerful and Prosperous countries of the world”he said.

“Be it clapping and lighting a lamp in honouring the warriors of corona virus by Indian armed forces, Janta curfew or by faithful adherence to rules during the lockdown, on every occasion you have shown that Ek Bharat is the gurantee for Shresta Bharat” he said.

The PM also referred to the suffering of migrants and labourers during the crises and said his government is working to allievate their troubles.

Stressing on the need to follow rules and guidelines he sadi, “we have to ensure that inconveniences we are facing do not turn to disaster. “

The PM also applauds the resilience shown by the people of West Bengal and Odisha during cyclone Amphan.

The PM also expressed confidence that india will set an example in economic revival.

PM Modi emphasized that india will have to become self reliant and that the recent package of Rs 20lakh crore which has been announced by him earlier this month , is a major step in this direction.

The aroma of Indian soil along with the sweat, talent, hard work of our workers will create products that will reduce India’s dependence on imports and will move towards “Self-Reliance” Modi said.

In 2019,the people of India not voted for mere continuity but also with a dream of taking india to a new height. A dream of making india a global leader. The decision taken in the last year are directed at fulfilling these dreams he said.

Nothing that country is facing many challanges. He said that the present and future of 130 crore people will never be dictated by adversity.

“With prayers for our county’s success, I bow to you once again. My heartiest wishes to you and your family stay healthy, stay safe, stay home, stay aware, stay informed” he said.

PM Modi signed of reffering him as “your Pradhaan Sevak”.
