Bhubaneswar: Lord Lingaraj wedlocks Goddess Parvati on occasion of Sital Sasthi Deity of Lord Lingaraj was taken on a procession to Kedar Gouri temple where the divine rituals were performed in a subdued manner without any public participation due to lockdown.
The Auspicious ceremony of lord shiva and Goddess parvati marriage which is popularly known as Sital Sasthi. But BMC has laid some restrictions for the Servitors who are going to participate in the ceremony.
As per the sources the festival was conducted without procession and decoration, mask and social distancing has been made mandatory for all the people, those who are suffering from any kind of health issues are not allowed to the ceremony, and the Servitors who are in charge had gone through thermal screening.
