MS Dhoni Retires From International Cricket

New Delhi : A legend of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni, whose finest hour was to captain India to their second ODI World Cup title in 2011 on home soil, announced his retirement from the international game on August 15.

Dhoni, who will lead the Chennai Super Kings into battle in the upcoming IPL in UAE, posted a video on Instagram announcing his decision.

Dhoni wrote, “Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired.”

Dhoni’s last outing in an India jersey was when they lost against New Zealand in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup in Old Trafford. Since then there was speculation around his future.
