Gathering of people across the globe of different hues, cast, creed and colour, the divine carnival comes every year. Like the other humanly rituals of the trinity the grand celebration is also connected directly to the devotees. Avoiding the social differences lakhs of people proud to be a part of the event. They perform in different style in front of chariots as if someone from their family is coming to meet them. From the lovely Krishna to terrifying Rudra, from the greatest devotee Hanuman to reflection of dedication Kubja, people show their love for the almighty. Shaking “tahias”, swinging idols with the shouting Jai Jagannath, the Badadanda roars as the wheels of Nandighosh, Taladhwaja and Darpadalana chariots of Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra respectively.
