Odisha Salutes Covid-19 Warriors By Reciting ‘Bande Utkala Janani’

Bhubaneswar: Odias across the globe unitedly recited ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ at 5.30 pm today to boost morale of the front line workers in the fight against the Covid-19.

Bande Utkala Janani’ considered as Odisha’s state anthem reverberated in the air as Odias across the globe sang the patriotic song as said by our CM earlier.

Hon’ble Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal with First Lady and family members along with officers and staff of Rajbhaban sing Vande Utkal Janani.

CM Naveen Pattnaik alongside his private secretary VK Pandian, sang the song at Naveen Niwas.

Also The Police Seva Bhawan organized the event with police band playing the music.

In Cuttack, DGP Abhay attended the solidarity event along with hundreds of policemen.

Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation salutes the COVID Warriors.

Special arrangements were made at AG Square in Bhubaneswar by Police Commisionerate. DCP Anup Sahoo and DCP Sagarika Nath attended the solidarity Programme.

On the other hand, sports persons and celebrities celebrated the function at Kalinga stadium.

Employees working at Rail Sadan, BDA office, Lok Seva Bhawan, Kharavela Bhawan and other offices came out of the office and sang the state song.

Special arrangements were made at Biju Pattnaik International Airport Square in Bhubaneswar.

As a gesture of solidarity with frontline workers engaged in the fight against Covid-19, Odia youths across the world sung ‘Bande Utkal Janani’. The Members of Mahatawa foundation were seen singing song.

All the people were seen across the world standing together and reciting the state anthem.
