Mumbai / Bhubaneswar : Ram Gopal Verma, an Indian film director has received backlashes for this tweet that said he had not heard of Odisha since the 1999 Super cyclone, but recently discovered the talent pool in the state with Apsara Rani.
It came as a shock to people of the state that a director with such repute has been so ignorant towards a very prominent state that has given the country so many gems.
Odias have always been underrated and considered the poor state even if the chief minister of the very same poor state has been applauded worldwide for his disaster management skills.
