NGOs & Corporate Offices Can Set Up COVID Care Hospitals in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on Monday said that corporate houses, central or state government establishments, and NGOs will be allowed to open COVID care facilities.

He informed that corporate houses and industries who have their own township or colonies with hospital facility have requested the State Government to set up COVID care facilities for their employees or members.

As per the latest policy of the state government, all Municipal Corporations, Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda airports, East Coast Railways and all its centres, all seaports, all Central and State PSUs having township or colonies with required facilities, central armed police force, national disaster response force, Odisha Police, Odisha Fire Services, Directorate of Prisons, all Central institutions, universities and deemed universities both Government and private, religious bodies, resident welfare associations, NGOs or any institution interested will be allowed to set up such facilities with certain conditions.
