New Delhi : Prime Minister Modi Today addresses the nation amid coronavirus outbreak. This address will be his sixth address to the nation since the COVID-19 pandemic. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 4 PM tomorrow,” the Prime Minister’s Office tweeted on Monday.

The announcement came after Indian government banned 59 mobile applications, including top social media platforms such as TikTok, Helo and WeChat to counter threat posed by these applications to country’s “sovereignty and security.”

The Union ministry of home affairs also extended the lockdown in the containment zones till July 31. Fresh guidelines for Unlock 2.0 were issued. Schools, colleges, cinema halls, gyms will remain shut to curb the spread of the virus.
