Curfew To Be Re-imposed In Puri For Suna Besha Of Lord Jagannath

Puri : Curfew will be re-imposed in Puri from 3 PM till 10 PM today for Suna Besha of Lord Jagannath and his siblings atop the chariots, informed Puri Collector Balwant Singh.

Talking on Wednesday, Singh, however, said that curfew will remain in force on the stretch from Market Chhak to Singhadwara throughout the day on Thursday restricting public congregation.

The prohibitory orders have been clamped in the Pilgrim Town in conformity of conditions laid down in the Supreme Court’s order.
