BMC Allows Operation Of Restaurants Till August 31

Bhubaneswar : The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today issued an order for restaurant service in hotels.

As per the order restaurants will be open for in-house guests and will operate as per SOP issued by Health Ministry. The restaurants and hotels are permitted to operate for home delivery/takeaways of food while dhabas along the National and State Highways/major roads are permitted for takeaway only.

“ It is further ordered that all the eateries like roadside food vendors/Food Vans /Thellas serving Gupchp. Chaat etc/Tea and Tiffin stalls/Lassi or Juice stalls etc shall only be allowed to operate for the purpose of takeaway only. This order will come into force with effect from 04-08-2020 up to 31-08-2020,” read an order of the BMC.
