Asit Tripathy Announces the Guidelines for Unlock-1.0 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar : This COVID-19 fight is not going to end soon. We have to stay ready for every situation. CM has already said that the month of June is very crucial.

Lockdown ended yesterday & unlock-1 has begun today. Number of positive cases will increase with return of migrants. So far 4,26,504 migrants have returned to the State.

👉Public worship at religious institutions will be restricted and and shopping malls will remain closed till June 30.

👉Cinema halls, gymnasiums and other places of large gathering will remain closed till June 30.

👉On graded reopening in Odisha, says public worshiping at religious places not to be permitted till June 30 in State; Malls not to be opened till June 30. Schools to remain closed till July 31 in Odisha.

👉Shutdown will be enforced in 11 districts (coastal districts and Nayagarh & Balangir) on every Saturday and Sunday as more number of migrants are returning to the districts.

👉At a time around 5,37,222 people were under quarantine, out of which 2,87,453 have been discharged; 2,49,769 are under quarantine at various quarantine centres across the state.

👉State Govt orders complete shutdown on Saturdays & Sundays in 11 districts till June – Ganjam, Puri, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Bolangir.

👉NO OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES for persons with co-morbidities, persons above 65 years old, pregnant women, children below 10 years old because of their vulnerability
