6 More Cases From Odisha Cancer Hospital

Bhubaneswar : A day after two staff nurses of Acharya Harihar Regional Cancer Centre (AHRCC) in Cuttack tested positive for COVID-19, six more persons including four patients were found to have contracted the virus.

Cuttack CDMO Satyabrata Chhotray informed that apart from four patients, one attendant and a staff of an Aahar centre inside the AHRCC have tested positive for COVID-19.

Two staff nurses of the premier cancer hospital in Cuttack tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Official sources said that the two nurses had come in contact with a cancer patient from Ganjam district who had tested positive for COVID-19 on June 24. The patient was reportedly admitted to the emergency ward of the hospital on June 19.

Both the nurses, a male and a female, have been shifted to a COVID hospital for treatment.
